North is the way to go, if one wants to get to Montreal ;-).
Thanks.
Your itinerary already looks swag. Good deal!
Thanks! It is pretty cool. I was looking into getting more post cards made up. Looks like post cards and pens are of similar cost, but he problem is the pens are Papermates, and as any left-handed person can tell you, Papermate's ink doesn't dry quite as fast as Bic's does, which leads to the dreaded Blue Knuckle Syndrome.
Blue Knuckle Syndrome. Clever!
Are you, like myself and the President, a Leftie?
No, if I were I'd have a hard time playing guitar. Or at least I'd only be able to play a left-handed guitar. Jimi Hendrix was a lefty. Before he was famous he would often pawn his guitar before the gig and they'd have to come up with the bucks to get it out as he couldn't play anyone else's.
Not many upside-down ones out there... and people take it funny when you say, "Can I borrow your axe?" and the first thing you do is restring it.
Yep, on the the restring it. I had one friend years ago who was a lefty and solved this problem without restringing. He learned to play upside down with the bass strings on the bottom. Somehow he pulled it off and was one of the better guitarist in town. Still, it's an odd thing.
Only left-handed people are in their right minds, you know.
Awesome.
I'll be there. I have a little fan. You can dry the ink fast.
Thanks. Not an issue though. The pens I was looking at were to give away. Tiny battery fan would do no good at all to keep from smearing in this case. The reason left-handed folks don't like Papermates is that the ink smears *while we're writing.* Hence the blue knuckles. Unlike the President, I never picked up the habit of turning my hand almost upside-down to write, nor, like someone I went to college with, did I ever learn to write sideways.
The ink dries fast enough if you're right handed, it's only folks who have to drag their hands over what they've just written. Besides, I doubt I'll have anyone lining up to get things signed.
You never know, Jen. Be prepared. It could be a long line. I tried my sig left-handed. I hold the pen pretty high so I'd get my pinky and ring finger knuckles blue.
I need to get to bed. Fighting a cold for four days now.
But in any case, I won't be using a Papermate, for the reason stated above.
Looks like fun! Hope I can make it. |
